At Mahaska Health the Foundation Director shall be responsible for the overall management of fundraising activities for Mahaska Health Partnership Foundation including Annual gifts and grants, Major and Planned gifts, Capital campaigns, and administration of the Mahaska Health Partnership Foundation. In this capacity, he/she shall also serve in an advisory role to the President and CEO of the Mahaska Health Partnership Board of Trustees in determining fundraising strategies. This position requires an individual who can provide strategic leadership to the development function, motivate key staff and volunteers, develop detailed plans and enjoys contact with individuals and small and large groups. The Foundation Director must be a self-starter, capable of communicating the mission, vision, and goals of Mahaska Health Partnership and the Mahaska Health Partnership Foundation.
At Mahaska Health the Emergency Department Registration Specialist is responsible for helping with ancillary registration of patients. During the registration process, this shift would obtain all demographic information, scan all cards, update insurance, and obtain necessary consent for that service. Registration will handle routine patient inquiries and will work closely with all MHP departments and provider offices. The hospital registration personnel will also be responsible for all functions of the switchboard and the alarm systems.

At Mahaska Health the Insurance Verification Specialist would be responsible for reviewing the next day's schedule and confirming the insurance information is complete, correct, and up to date before each patient resents their appointment. This position would use payor portals to confirm coverages on file are still active, and if not, they will be responsible for calling the patient to obtain up-to-date coverage. They will also be responsible for updating the eligibility dates in Registration to reflect the payor websites and will search for additional coverages on patients who only have a Medicaid policy on file.
The Home Hospice, Serenity House CNA works under the supervision of a registered nurse and performs various services for a patient as necessary to meet the patient’s personal needs and to promote comfort, quality, continuity and safety of a patient’s care. They are responsible for observing the patient, reporting these observations and documenting observations and care performed.

At Mahaskah Health the polysomnographic technologist works under medical supervision by a physician, Director of Cardiopulmonary Services or designated representative to perform services integral to the Mahaska Health Partnership Sleep Center.

The primary function of the Certified Operating Room Technician (CORT) is as a scrub technician, the sterile member of the surgical team who passes instruments, sutures, and sponges during a surgical procedure. The performance of these functions should be according to the experience and scope of the educational preparation of the individual technician and applicable to legal guidelines.
There will be on-call requirements for this position. Must be able to respond within 20 minutes while on call.
