Hospice Director

The Hospice Supervisor has accountability for the Hospice staff who are accountable for patient care during their shift 

• Maintains operational aspects of assigned departments in cooperation with administration and ancillary personnel.
• Provides leadership and direction in accordance with organization and departmental goals and objectives
• Responsible for performance management of employees
• Supervises and sets standards for activities related to patient care
• Leads quality improvement activities
• Leads care team in delivery of patient care
• Provides education for nursing staff and families
• Keeps abreast of Federal, State, and local regulations affecting assigned departments
• Maintains compliance with accreditation standards specific to assigned departments
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance
